Love these guys! Aren’t they the cutest 😍 Cliff Swallows spotted @treeoflifenursery back in April of 2023! Ecofeminism is a movement that sees climate change, gender equality, and social injustice more broadly as intrinsically related issues, all tied to masculine dominance in society. Ecofeminism also calls attention to the fact that women are disproportionately affected by environmental issues. It is the 5 year anniversary for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Irvine-Laguna Wildlife Corridor, held in March 2018! It was a significant stepping stone in the creation of a fully functioning wildlife corridor in collaboration with FivePoint, the City of Irvine, and other local partners! Happy Mother’s Day! 💐 Thankful for all the mother figures in our lives, even when they embarrass us with their obsessive need to keep us clean 🫶 Happy Earth Day from Laguna Greenbelt. Orange County, please join us tomorrow morning for an invigorating talk for Earth Day, featuring our very talented Boardmember John Foley discussing how our camera study illuminates the need for the completion of the Irvine-Laguna Wildlife Corridor. See you there! Thanks to @ochabitats for hosting. At the beginning of 🌎#earthmonth @gio_difranco captured this video of a Rattlesnake 🐍 while in the Loma Ridge foothills north of Irvine. Comment below if you can confirm it’s species! 💬 #wildlifewednesday #wildlifephotography #wildlifeconservation #rattlesnake #southerncalifornia Gardening can be a great activity to take up during the spring! 🧑‍🌾 try your best to implement more drought-tolerant or native plant species in your garden 🪴 for example, replacing your lawn with a flower bed can drastically reduce your water consumption! 💦 Join OC Parks on a wilderness walk this Wednesday. Be sure to RSVP at the email listed. It’s a fun way to connect with your elected officials…what a great idea!
