Meet Bynx the Bobcat!
The official ambassador of the Irvine-Laguna Wildlife Corridor (ILWC). Our feline friend is excited to take us on a journey through the Corridor teaching us about coastal sage scrub and our native flora and fauna. We will meet more furry friends on this adventure and we can’t wait for what’s in store.
As we start our journey, Bynx is poised overlooking the coastal sage scrub habitat that he calls home. The Lemonade Berry shrub (Rhus integrifolia) grows in the Mediterranean climate of Orange County. Its sweet fruit is a great food source for birds and small mammals.
